Define the learner and the finish line
Write down prerequisites, the intended audience, and one observable outcome. Help first-time freelancers prepare a proposal, for example, rather than teaching everything about freelancing. Explain who the course is not for.
Speak with potential learners. Use their questions to identify gaps, not as a substitute for expertise.

Turn a skill into a course people can work through.
Build a sequence, not a video archive
Arrange the curriculum around milestones. Introduce an idea, demonstrate it, and suggest a task. Add a worksheet when it makes the task easier, rather than inflating the resource count.
- Begin with orientation and required tools.
- Keep demonstrations focused and notes readable.
- Finish with a project the learner can complete independently.
Prepare the content for Sunday
Courses support modules, lessons, written content, and private resources. New video uploads accept MP4 or WebM up to 200 MB per file; PDF resources can be up to 20 MB. Storage quotas also apply.
Sunday serves original videos rather than transcoding them or generating captions. Prepare web-friendly files and accessible text yourself. Keep unfinished offers disabled until all lessons are ready.
Explain purchase and support clearly
Publish the outline, language, prerequisites, resource formats, and support boundaries. State whether updates are included and avoid an undefined lifetime-access promise. Price according to scope and support, not hours alone.
Students use their account and library after confirmed payment and can save lesson progress. Do not advertise native quizzes, certificates, live teaching, or cohort management. Demonstrate a real lesson to help buyers judge the fit.
Before you launch
- One clear learner outcome and honest prerequisites.
- All lessons contain usable content and ready resources.
- Files meet upload limits.
- Language, scope, access, and support are explained.
Questions, answered
Do I need video in every lesson?
No. Lessons can use written content and resources. Choose the format that explains the task best.
Can I host live classes in Sunday?
Sunday currently supports self-paced courses, not live conferencing or cohort scheduling. Use a separate service for live sessions.
Can students track their progress?
Yes. Students can save progress and mark lessons complete. This is not an assessment or certification system.
