Gumroad pricing notes. Gumroad lists processing separately for direct sales. Its fee guide lists 5% + $0.50 on subsequent direct sales after $20,000 in paid sales in a calendar month; account-specific pricing can differ.

Payment processing is not platform commission. Rates depend on country, payment method, currency, and account terms. Prices and features can change; taxes and other applicable charges may be additional.

Which one fits your business?

Choose Sunday for
Downloads & courses.

  • You bring customers from your own audience and prefer a fixed subscription to a platform fee on each order.
  • You want a profile, links, paid downloads, and courses together, with eligible payments going directly to your connected Stripe account.

Choose Gumroad for
Testing your first product.

  • You are testing an idea and would rather avoid a fixed monthly subscription before you have sales.
  • Merchant-of-record handling of applicable indirect taxes is important to your business.
  • You need software license keys, pay-what-you-want pricing, or discovery for eligible products.

Before you switch.

Is Sunday cheaper than Gumroad?

Not at every sales level. Sunday has a fixed subscription even without sales. Gumroad has no monthly subscription but charges sales fees. Compare your actual order values, volume, processing, and tax-administration needs rather than assuming one is always cheaper.

Does 0% Sunday commission mean payments are free?

No. You still pay for your Sunday subscription and Stripe processing. Other applicable business costs and taxes remain separate.

Can I automatically move Gumroad purchases to Sunday?

Sunday does not currently offer a one-click Gumroad migration. Existing customer access, payment details, and recurring subscriptions do not automatically transfer.

Check the sources.

Comparing another platform?

USD pricing. Processing and applicable taxes are additional. Gumroad shows its standard direct-sale fee; Patreon shows its standard new-creator rate. Exceptions are explained in each guide.
