Choose an audience and remove unnecessary databases. Add clearly labelled sample data and a quick-start page. Explain which Notion plan and features are required.
Create original work and verify licences for images, icons, and resources. Buying another creator’s template does not grant resale rights.

Prepare a clean duplication experience
Publish the appropriate Notion Site and enable Duplicate as template. Test from another account. Confirm that subpages and resources are available without exposing private data.
If you also sell directly through Notion Marketplace, follow Notion’s instructions for a separate copy and Site URL for third-party customers. A Marketplace-linked URL may redirect to Notion checkout.
Deliver instructions, not a mystery link
Create a PDF or text file containing the template URL, duplication steps, prerequisites, and support contact. Upload it as a Sunday digital product. The buyer then follows those instructions in Notion.
- Include screenshots of duplication steps.
- Explain permitted use and any sharing or resale restrictions.
- State the language and paid Notion requirements.
Demonstrate the workflow honestly
Show a realistic task and its result. Price according to usefulness and support, not page count. Avoid implying official Notion endorsement.
Third-party paid distribution does not get Notion Marketplace access locking. A Sunday refund cannot remove an already duplicated copy. Maintain clear support and refund terms.

Does Sunday duplicate the template for my buyer?
No. Sunday delivers your instruction file. The buyer follows its link and duplicates the template in Notion.
Can I also list on Notion Marketplace?
Follow the current rules for third-party listings and direct Marketplace sales. Separate copies and URLs may be required; do not use a paid listing to bypass Marketplace checkout.
Can I stop customers sharing the link?
Notion access locking is not available for third-party paid distribution. Clear licensing sets expectations but cannot guarantee prevention.
