Choose one problem worth solving
Pick an audience you understand and a task they already need to do. A cash-flow spreadsheet for freelance photographers is easier to explain than a generic productivity pack. Validate it through conversations before producing a large collection.
- Name the person, the task, and the practical result.
- Show a preview without exposing the whole paid file.
- Use original work or assets with explicit resale permission.
Package a useful file and deliver it after purchase.
Package a file that works on day one
Include getting-started instructions, compatibility details, and a clear licence. Test on a clean device or account. Remove personal information and assets you cannot redistribute.
Sunday accepts one deliverable per digital product, up to 25 MiB. Package related files into one ZIP within that limit. Storage quotas apply; do not promise unlimited sizes or copy protection.
Price the product, not just the file
Compare genuinely similar offers, then consider time saved, audience specificity, and support. There is no universal best price. Explain value through a worked example instead of guaranteed results.
State the contents, language, software requirements, licence, support contact, and refund policy. Account for payment fees, your subscription, and applicable taxes when estimating margin.
Launch with a demonstration
Show the download in use and link to its product page from relevant content. Answer common objections and ask early customers what confused them. Improve the instructions before expanding the catalogue.
After confirmed payment, buyers access the purchase through their account and library. The purchase email links to the order; it does not attach the file. Refunds can revoke future access but cannot recall downloaded copies.
